15. U sing a sharp hobby blade, cut the covering
aw ay from the w ing tube and locating pin holes.
Y ou m ay w ant to seal the covering dow n w ith
CA or a sealing iron.
16. Test fit the w ing tube through the fuselage. U se
a ruler to help center the tube in the fuse, then
m ark the alignm ent w ith a perm anent m arker.
17. Tem porarily m ount the w ing on the w ing tube,
sliding the dow els in the locator holes. B e
careful to keep the tube centered in the fuse.
18. Locate the (2) 6-32 x 1” bolts. W ith the w ings
tight against the fuse, D rill (2) 0.1” holes
through the alum inum tube.
19. U se a 6-32 tap to thread the holes in the tube.
20. C ounter sink the hard points 1/8” deep w ith a
1/4”drill bit. W ork carefully to keep the w ood
from splitting.
21. Test fit the bolts in the holes. Put thread lock on
one bolt and cover the bolt hole w ith 3m vinyl
tape. Leave this bolt in place perm anently.
22. W hen ready for flying, put 3M clear vinyl tape
over the other bolt.
