6.6 Change Logging Level
The sysadmin may wish to change the logging level of syslog.
1.
Login as
root
2.
Edit the file
/etc/syslog.conf
(
vi /etc/syslog.conf
)
3.
Restart the system logger by entering:
service syslog restart

Run
save
.
