Function of the DPX701
In Standby mode
G-Analyzer Reset
Resets the value of G-Meter, G-Counter and G-
Analyzer Horsepower Analysis.
1 Select G-Analyzer Reset mode
Push the Control knob towards [FM] or [AM].
Select the "G-Reset" display.
2 Enter G-Analyzer Reset mode
Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.
3 Select the Reset item
Push the Control knob towards [FM] or [AM].
"G-Meter Reset": Reset the value of G-Meter.
"G-Counter Reset": Reset the value of G-Counter.
"G-Power Reset": Reset the value of G-Analyzer
Horsepower Analysis.
4 Reset the value
Press the Control knob for at least 2 seconds.
"Reset OK" is displayed.
5 Exit G-Analyzer Reset mode
Press the [MENU] button.

In Standby mode
G-Analyzer Calibration setup
G-Analyzer requires calibration for horizontal
acceleration and braking.
• To ensure accurate calibration, go through the
following steps at a level place where you can move
the vehicle straight ahead.
1 Park the vehicle in a horizontal location
2 Select G-Analyzer Calibration setup mode
Push the Control knob towards [FM] or [AM].
Select the "G-Calibration" display.
3 Enter G-Analyzer Calibration setup mode
Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.
"Stop" is displayed.
4 Start Calibration of horizontal direction
Press the Control knob.
Once "Move Forward" appears on the display, the
vehicle must be advanced.
5 Start Calibration of straight direction
Start moving the vehicle ahead.
Calibration of straight direction automatically
starts.
When the Calibration is finished, "Calibration OK"
is displayed.
• If you fail to complete the calibraton, "No Calibration"
is displayed. In such a case, repeat steps 1 through 6.
6 Exit G-Analyzer Calibration setup mode
Press the [MENU] button.

G-Analyzer Horsepower Gauge
setup
Enter vehicle class and weight to calculate
horsepower.
1 Select the G-Analyzer Horsepower Gauge
setup mode
Push the Control knob towards [FM] or [AM].
Select the "Hp Gauge Setup" display.
2 Enter G-Analyzer Horsepower Gauge setup
mode
Press the Control knob for at least 1 second.
"Class Select" is displayed.
3 Select vehicle class
Push the Control knob towards [ 4] or
[ ¢].
Each time you push the knob, the vehicle class
alternates between the modes shown in the
table below.
