Preferences
Date Stamp
The Date Stamp screen is used to record the date on your pictures.
To turn on the Date Stamp:

The date stamp is only visible after the picture has been taken with the
camera in either Review mode, or in Capture mode with Quickview
activated. See “Quickview” on page 4-7, or chapter 3, “Review” on page
3-1 for details.
To cancel Date Stamp: press a
button until OFF is highlighted, and then
press the DO-IT button. The Date Stamp setting is maintained until another
setting is selected. This setting does not change when the camera is turned off.

Set the Mode dial to Preferences.

Turn the camera on.
The LCD displays the Preferences screen.

Press a
button until the Date Stamp
icon is highlighted.

Press the DO-IT button.
The LCD displays the main Date
Stamp screen. The current setting is
checked (
ü).

Press a
button until the appropriate
date stamp order is highlighted.

Press the DO-IT button.
The main Preferences screen reappears.
The next time you take a picture the Date
Stamp will appear in the lower right hand
corner of the picture on the LCD screen.
