Capture
Capturing a
Picture
When the Mode dial is set to Capture, the camera can perform the
following functions:
✔
capture a picture
✔
preview pictures on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
✔
delete a picture just taken
✔
adjust the exposure
✔
adjust some camera settings using the Status Display
Camera Power
To turn the camera on/off:
If you are not using an AC power adapter and your camera is idle for
approximately 5 minutes, it automatically turns off. To turn the camera on again,
press the camera’s power button.
Press the POWER button.
The green Ready light, on the back of the
camera, and the Status Display screen turns on
or off.

If the camera is turned off while a picture
is being processed, the camera will finish
processing the picture before turning off.
