Using the Digest functions
INTRO SCAN
Plays the first ten seconds of each track of a CD-DA or VIDEO CD in turn.
DISC SCAN (disc digest)
The first images of nine tracks of a VIDEO CD are displayed as 9 mini screens at a time on the TV screen.
TRACK SCAN (track digest)
A single track of a VIDEO CD is divided into 9 parts and the first image of each part is displayed as one of
9 mini screens.
÷ The selected Digest function is executed.
÷ The menu items "2. DISC" and "3. TRACK" can be
selected only for VIDEO CD playback.

Select the CD input.
Press the
7 STOP key.
Select the desired Digest function.
2 Select the desired function with a numeric
key (1 to 4).
1 Display the menu.
÷ To stop playback during VIDEO CD playback, keep the
7 STOP key depressed for more than 2 seconds.
1. INTRO 2. DISC
3. TRACK 4. EXIT
The Digest menu is displayed on the screen.
1. INTRO SCAN
2. DISC SCAN (disc digest)
3. TRACK SCAN (track digest)
4. EXIT: To exit this screen.
