Convenient CD recording
Enter the recording length of the tape.
Start edit recording.
Select the “EDIT” mode.
÷ When automatic edition has been completed, the “EDIT”
indicator lights.
÷ When a wrong time has been entered, confirm that the
“EDIT” indicator is lit and start again from step
1.
÷ Up to 32 tracks can be edited.
÷ Every time the ¢ key is pressed, the edited track
numbers will be displayed in the changed order. Press
the
7 key to return to the track number of the first track.
2 Press the EDIT key.
When the “time” key is pressed
repeatedly, a tape length of 46, 54, 60,
or 90 minutes can be selected easily.
After selection, press the EDIT key to
go to step
3.
÷ The tape and CD stop automatically when recording has
completed.
Giving preference to the tape length over the track sequence
(time edit recording)
Recording preparations are required.

1 Confirm that the “PGM” indicator is not lit.
If the “PGM” indicator is lit, press the P.MODE key
to turn it off.
÷ To cancel the EDIT mode, press the P.MODE key of the
remote control unit.
Confirm that this is not lit
When the tape recording time is specified, record-
ing is executed with changing the track sequence
so that no track will be interrupted when the tape
direction is changed at the end of one side.
The editing is ended when no opera-
tion is executed for 8 sec or more.
Press the numeric keys as shown below.

Confirm that the “EDIT” indicator changes from
flashing to steady lighting, and then go to step
3.

Depending on the combination of conditions from CD contents (number of tracks and length of the tracks) and
tape recording time, interruption of a track may not be avoidable. In such a case, the respective track will not be
recorded.
