Beep length
Your fax machine normally signals the end of transmission, reception,
or copying with a 3-second beep. If desired, you can change the
duration of the beep to 1 second or turn the beep off.

Press these keys:
The display will alternately show:
BEEP LENGTH
1=3 SEC, 2=1 SEC
BEEP LENGTH
3=NO BEEP

Press 1 for 3 seconds, 2 for 1 second,
or 3 for no beep.

Press the STOP key to return to the
date and time display.
Example:
No beep
