SMS centre
To send and receive SMSs you need the telephone
number of the service provider’s SMS centre.
Important
: the telephone number of SMS Centre 1 is
always used when sending an SMS. The telephone
number of SMS Centre 2 permits the receipt of SMS
messages from a third-party provider.
Deactivating the SMS function
You can deactivate the SMS function by deleting the
service provider’s telephone numbers in the SMS Cen-
tre 1 and SMS Centre 2 fields.
The following section (see page 50) explains the
meaning of SMS Centre 1 and SMS Centre 2 in greater
detail.
