M MANUAL EXPOSURE
Set both the shutter speed and aperture value according to the indication of the
exposure meter. You can change the exposure, as you desire.

Set the “D”-Dial to the “Drive-Area” (P.14).

Set the “Mode”-Dial to the “M” position.

Press the shutter button “Half-Way” to verify
the focus, and rotate C dial to select the
desired shutter speed.

While pressing
button, rotate C dial to
select the desired aperture.

Verify the settings in the viewfinder.
To determine the exposure value using the camera’s exposure meter
Rotate the “mode”-Dial to the M position. When you press the shutter button
“Half-way”, the shutter speed and aperture value are displayed in the viewfinder,
and the display indicates the difference between the manually selected exposure
and the metered exposure. Such as

The exposure meter can display an exposure error of up to ± 3 stops from the
correct exposure in
