Display Settings
Changing the Phone’s Menu Style
Your phone allows you to choose how the main menu appears
on your display screen.
1. Select > (right softkey) > Change View.
2. Select Grid View or List View.
Ⅲ Grid View to view each main menu item as an animated
single-screen icon. You can select a menu by pressing a
number key. Allocation of menu options corresponds to
that of number keys on the keypad.
Ⅲ List View to view main menu as a list. Menu option is
numbered and you can select it by pressing the
corresponding number key on the key pad.
Changing the Backlight Time Length
To change the backlight setting:
1. Select > Settings > Display > Backlight.
2. Select Main LCD or Sub LCD.
3. Select Always On, Dim Only, or a preset length of time.
Note: Th e Always On setting returns to the previous value the next time
you turn on the phone.
To change the Keypad backlight setting:
1. Select > Settings > Display > Backlight > Key.
2. Select Always Off or a preset length of time.
Note: Long backlight settings affect the phone’s talk and standby times.
