2 Accessing indicator
(red/green/orange)
Red flashing:
œ When charging the flash; when no card,
an unformatted card, or a locked card is
installed (indicates that image or sound
cannot be recorded); or when recording
using the self-timer (page 64)
Red steady:
œ When the memory is full (indicates that
image or sound cannot be recorded),
when recording using the self-timer, or
when the battery power is consumed
Green flashing:
œ When using the exposure correction or
digital zoom functions (indicates that
image and sound can be recorded), or
when the power save function is activated
Green steady:
œ When images and sound can be
recorded, when connected to a PC or
printer, when printing, or when set to the
PC camera mode
Orange steady:
œ When recording images or sound

7 DC IN (external DC power
input) terminal
œ For connecting a separately sold AC
adapter (model VAR-G6EX for the
