Advanced Playback (continued)
„ Random play or repeat play
During playback, press the MODE button repeatedly
to select the playback mode.
Notes:
z If the playback mode is selected whilst stopped, move the
M button toward
to start playback.
z When "TOC" is displayed, random play or repeat play is
impossible.
z During random play, the unit cannot find the beginning of
any track which has been played.
z Repeat play lasts until you stop the unit.
z In random play the unit will select and play tracks auto-
matically. (You cannot select the order of the tracks.) After
all of the tracks have been played once in random order,
the unit will stop automatically.
z During random, random repeat, or single track repeat
play, you can forward or reverse the MiniDisc only within
the track being played.
Display on the remote control When the group mode is selected
("GROUP" lights up) When the group mode is cancelled
("GROUP" goes out)
RANDOM (Random playback) Tracks are played back at random within
a group and playback stops automatical-
ly after all tracks are ended. After all tracks are played back at ran-
dom, playback stops automatically.
RANDOM (Random repeat play-
back) Tracks are played back at random within
a group and groups are played repeated-
ly in order. All tracks are played back at random re-
peatedly.
(All tracks repeat playback) All tracks are played back repeatedly in
order. All tracks are played back repeatedly in
order.
1 (1 group repeat playback/1 track
repeat playback) The selected group is played back re-
peatedly. The selected track is played back re-
peatedly.
