Playback Features
Advanced JOG Dial
The JOG Dial can be found on the front right of the VCR. It has various
functions, such as picture search (
੬ this page and pg. 17), selecting preset
position (
੬ pg.18), 24H Express Timer Programming (੬ pg. 26), etc.
Pause During Playback
There are two ways to view a still picture during playback:
method one Press the centre part of the JOG Dial.
method two Press the | button on the VCR or the Remote Contol.
• If the paused picture on the TV screen jumps vertically, press the PR button
on the Remote Control until the picture is steady.
• Press . or the JOG Dial to resume playback.
Single Frame Movement
You can move backward or forward from the still picture in one of three ways:
method one
Turn the JOG Dial right for forward or left for back.
method two Press the | button on the VCR or the Remote Control. Each time
the | button is pressed, the frame will move forward one frame.
method three
Press D or E on the Remote Control. Each time one of
these buttons is pressed, the frame will advance or move back one frame.
• Press . to resume playback.
