In the manual recording mode;

8 To cancel the manual focus setting
Move the set lever to (FOCUS) so that
the /
indicator disappears.
Focus Assist
The image becomes black and white. The
outline of focused object is displayed in
blue. Use this for adjusting the focus more
precisely.

Adjust the focus, then press down
the set lever to fi x the focus.
8 To cancel the focus assist mode
Press the FOCUS ASSIST button again.
NOTE
If you use focus assist in dark places, the
rough area of the image appears in color, and
the outline color becomes diffi cult to see.
Nightalive
Nightalive enables recording with more
sensitivity in dim locations, by adjusting the
shutter speed automatically.
In the manual recording mode;

8 To cancel Nightalive
Move the set lever to (NIGHT) so that the
indicator disappears.
NOTE
It is recommended to use the tripod ( ੬ p. 18)
because the shutter speed becomes slow.
Backlight Compensation
Backlight compensation brightens the subject
by increasing the exposure.
In the manual recording mode;
8 To cancel backlight compensation
Move the set lever to ( ) twice so that
the indicator disappears.
