Noise Reduction
Adjusts the settings of picture noise reduction.
● The functions are unavailable when “PC Monitor Mode” is set to “On” or
when signals in a PC signal format are coming in.
◆ Digital VNR
Reduces picture noise.
■
Auto : Estimates the amount of noise automatically and applies
suitable noise reduction processing.
■
High / Medium / Low / Off
◆ MPEG NR
Reduces noise on MPEG pictures such as mosquito-noise and block-
noise.
■ High / Low / Off
3DY/C
Detects the type of the picture signal (movie or still picture) which is input
to INPUT-4 from composite terminal and applies a suitable Y/C separation
process to each type.
● Unavailable when “Picture Delay Time” is set to “Short”.
● Unavailable when the format of the incoming signal is other than NTSC 3.58,
PAL50, PAL M or PAL N.
