8. Turn cylinder 1/2‐turn in the opposite direction of STEP 7.
9. Reassemble by reversing STEPS 1‐6.

Replacing the Release Handle and Cable Assembly -
Model IH6077A Only
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 5.7 on page 26.
1. With one hand, squeeze release lever up toward mounting bracket and remove anchor
end of cable assembly from slot in release lever (Detail ʺBʺ ).
CAUTION
When removing the cable from the mounting bracket, use care to pull straight out of
"V" notch. DO NOT remove by bending the cable. Damage to the cable may occur.
2. Remove cable assembly from ʺVʺ notch of the mounting bracket (Detail ʺBʺ).
3. Remove the mounting screw that secures the cable to the back frame.
4. Remove the mounting screw which secures the release handle to the push handle
(Detail ʺAʺ).
5. Secure new release handle to the push handle with the existing mounting screw.
Securely tighten (Detail ʺAʺ).
