Name of a country or region that
uses a certain set of tone pairs for
dial tone, ring tone, busy tone, and
‘unobtainable’ tone (fast busy
tone), survivability tone (tone
heard briefly, 2 seconds, after going
offhook denoting survivable mode
of voip unit) and re-order tone (a
tone pattern indicating the need for
the user to hang up the phone). In
some cases, the tone-pair scheme
denoted by a country name may
also be used outside of that
country. The “Custom” option
(button) assures that any tone-
pairing scheme worldwide can be
accommodated.

and “mute”
setting

Amplification factor of higher
frequency of pair.
This applies to the dial, ring, busy,
and ‘unobtainable’ (fast busy) tones
that the MultiVOIP outputs as
audio to the FXS, FXO, or E&M
port. Default: -16dB
