Searching for Locations

Finding Local Businesses
Local search enables you to search
for local businesses. In addition to
searching by spelling the name of a
location, you can also spell the names
of categories, like “salon” or “coffee.”
This service is not available in all
areas. A data connection is required for
this feature. Your regular data usage
charges apply.
1. From the Home screen, touch to
view the Where To? pane.
2. Touch Browse Places > Local
Search.
3. Enter your search term, and touch
.
4. Touch an item.
Finding Recently Found
Locations
Your device stores the last 50 locations
you have found.
1. From the Home screen, touch to
view the Where To? pane.
2. Touch Browse Places > Recently
Found.
3. Touch a location.
Clearing the Recently Found
List
1. From the Home screen, touch to
view the Where To? pane.
2. Touch Browse Places > Recently
Found.
3. Touch > Clear > oK.
The list of recently found locations is
cleared. These locations are not deleted
from the map data.
