2) While the unit is stopped, press the [ENTER/YES] key to enter the MENU mode.
The display now shows the MENU list screen.
3) While "SYS SETUP" is highlighted, press the [ENTER/YES] key.
The display now shows the SYS SETUP menu screen.
4) Use the [MENU] dial to select the "Auto copy" menu item and press the [ENTER/
YES] key.
The current setting flashes and you can now select the desired auto copy mode.
By default, "Off" flashes.
You can select from among "Off", "BGRD (Background) and "IMME" (Immedi-
ately).
5) Use the [MENU] dial to select the desired option and press the [ENTER/YES] key.
After the display shows "Setup auto copy" followed by "Ready auto copy", the
selected mode is set.
The setting is stored to the DV824 flash ROM.
In this procedure example, it is assumed that "IMME" (Immediately) is selected.
6) Press the [STOP/HOME] key to exit the MENU mode.
The display now shows the Home screen for the partition.
According to the copy mode selection in step 5) above, "
" icon (when selecting
"IMME") or " " icon (when selecting "BGRD") is shown on the left of the status
information area.
