15. Display the TPS Board ID Number

1 Press “Next” or “Previous” and let the
scanner display Screen 55.
The scanner displays the ID number if the
applicable board is installed.
NOTICE
If the Fujitsu video Interface Option board is installed properly, the display shows “ID=7”.
2 Press to return.
16. Select Built-In/IPC-4D Image Processing
1 Press ”Next” or and let the scanner
display the Screen 56.
2 At Screen 56, press or to select
”Standard” or ”IPC4D”.
When ”Standard” is selected, the scanner uses
its built-in image processing. On the other hand,
the scanner selects the image processing of the
IPC-4D when the ”IPC-4D” is installed and
selected.
NOTICE
The factory default is ”Standard”.
NOTICE
fi-4750C has built-in Image Processing. The following image processing is supported both by the fi-4750C
and the IPC-4D. As a default, the scanner built-in functions are enabled. By setting "On" using the
Operator Panel, the IPC-4D image processing overrides the built-in functions.

The IPC-4D support of those functions is intended for compatibility with the IPC-3/3D (except for image
quality). The matrix size used in the IPC-4D is larger than the one in the fi-4750C. The fi-4750C Built-in
Dynamic Threshold is a new algorithm.
