Motion detection

Current field of view
If you configured a motion detection window as a trigger, the motion detection may become invalid when
the camera’s field of view moved away from the detection window.
You can let camera return to the motion detection position to detect the coming event by re-configuring
your Home position in PTZ > PTZ settings (see page 131) or turn the camera to a preset position.

The camera can be associated with another camera with responsive actions. For example, if a thermal
camera detects some abnormal situations, e.g., a fire, the camera can tell another camera, say, a PTZ
camera to move to a preset position to observe the current situation.
