» Make sure that you have compieted “Setting the time" on page 9.
• Switch on the power.
Set the timer at ieast 2 minutes before you want to start recording.
The figure shows how to set the record timer for recording FM
broadcasts from 18:30 to 20:00,
® Press CLOCK/TIMER to select “©REC”.
Every time you press the button:
CLOCK ©PLAY ^ ©REC
Previous display
(?) (Within 10 seconds or so)
Press V or A to set the start time display flashing.
1 "ON" girne setting
® Press V or A when the start time display is
flashing to set the start time.
(D Press CLOCK/TIMER.
Finish time flashes.
'OFF" lime setting
(?) Press V or A to set the finish time.
(D Press CLOCK/TIMER.
Display returns to original mode.
Source selection
Select the desired source and then prepare for
recording.
To record from the radio
Press TUNER BAND to select “FM" or “AM” and tune in the
desired station.
To record from a unit connected to the “AUX” terminals
Press AUX.
Prepare for recording.
1. Insert a tape into Deck 2 with the side on which the
recording will start facing you.
2. Select the reverse mode.
Reverse mode does not become part of the timer memory,
B Press ©PLAY/SREC to select “©REC”.
Every time you press the button;
©PLAY----©REC

Power will shut OFF automaticaily in a few seconds.
About 30 seconds before the set time, recording will start with
ali sound muted automatically.
