Operation
When performing adjustment work (e.Ăg. adjusting shock absorbers):
Please note
Deformed components may cause a functional failure.
S Make sure that no transverse forces are applied on housing 2, or on the
clamping rod of the HMP−...−KP.
If a sudden pressure drop occurs:
S
Check the function of the HMP−...−KP−...
without work load as follows:
ć Exhaust the linear module HML−...
ć Exhaust the clamping unit
ć Push the guide rod by hand into a parking position (press the manual
override at the same time)
ć Pressurize the parking position on the HMPL−...
ć Pressurize the linear module in the stroke direction.
The guide tube may move max. 1 ... 2 mm.
ć Exhaust the linear module
To
clamp the guide tube:
S
Carry out the following steps:
1. Pressurize the compressed air connection of the park position on the linear
module.
2. Exhaust clamping unit and then linear module.
To
move the linear module out of a parking position:
S
First pressurize the compressed air connection for the parking position on the
linear module, and then on the clamping unit.
If there is a change in the work load mass:
S
Compare the permitted loads with your actual application.
