CEMENT BOARD
The Custom BodySpa room design must utilize
cement board over the entire wall surface from
ceiling to subfloor.
WATERĆRESISTANT WALL
MATERIAL
You should plan to install waterĆresistant wall
material on the entire ceiling surface.
FINISHED WALL MATERIAL
You can use any waterproof material to finish the
walls and ceiling of your Custom BodySpa room,
including ceramic and glass tile, stone, and solid
surface material. Keep in mind that various
materials have different heatĆretaining properties.
KEYPAD CONTROL LOCATION
Consider three factors when you choose a location
for the keypad control. The keypad control must
be
S within the WaterĆFree Zone: Use r safe ty
and comfort dictate that the keypad control
be installed and operated within the room's
WaterĆFree Zone because of the volume and
force of the BodySpa water.
S at the recommended height: We
recommend that the keypad control be
located between 58 and 60Ćinches up from
the floor of the footbath basin to maximize
usability and user comfort.
S within reach of the control box: The
keypad control uses a 10Ćfoot cable which
cannot be spliced, extended, or stretched.
Choose the keypad control location
accordingly.
