Check the battery and cable terminals
CAUTION
When working on the electrical equipment,
always disconnect the ground lead (1) at the
battery.
- Check the battery acid level and inspect the battery
for leaks. Observe the information of the battery
manufacturer.
- Remove any corrosion on the battery terminals.
- Grease the battery terminals with non-acidic battery
grease.
- Check cables and cable ends for secure connection
and damage.
- Replace any damaged cables and terminals.
Check the high pressure hoses
- Check the high pressure hoses for cracks, bending
and chafing, and for porous surfaces.
Replace damaged high-pressure hoses immediately.
This work may only be carried out by an authorized work-
shop.
