Check the air cleaner system
The filter cartridge must be serviced when the flow resist-
ance of the filter is highest due to the restriction of the ele-
ment. This is indicated by the sounding of an alarm.

Stop the engine.
- Raise the dump body (loading platform*) and secure it
against accidental lowering.
- Remove the clamping band (1) from the air cleaner
housing and turn the air cleaner housing up.
- Open the air cleaner cover clips (2).
- Pull off the housing cover and clean the dust ejection
valve (4).
- Pull the air filter element (3) out of the housing by
rotating it slightly.
Cleaning:

Blow out the filter element from the inside with com-
pressed air having a pressure of maximum of 5 bar.
Replacement:
-
Install a new filter element.
Clean the air cleaner housing with a moist cloth before in-
stallation.
The installation of the air filter element is performed in the
reverse order.
