Editing Properties
Any time you open properties and tap OK, the system saves the settings. The following message appears after you tap OK:
Tap OK again to save any changes.
When you edit the properties of an existing adapter, you must perform a soft reset (see Soft Reset (Warm Boot) on page 2-12)
so that new registry entries created by the changes can be read by the applications that need them.
Do NOT perform a hard reset after modifying a network adapter. Hard resets return the terminal to factory defaults. FOr
