Using the Easy Screen
The following basic settings are available on the TWAIN easy
screen:
Document source
I m a g e t y p e
Destination.
You must select the appropriate option from each of these
settings to successfully scan your image.
Selecting the Document Source
If you have an optional Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or
Transparency Unit installed on your scanner, you can select the
option from the Document Source pull-down menu. The
following table describes the available options:
Document Source options
Source option
Function
Flatbed Scans the image from the document table
Automatic Document

Scans images as they feed through the ADF
Feeder (multipage scanning)
Transparency Unit Scans an image from the Transparency Unit
Note:
When the Automatic Document Feeder is installed, the easy and
advanced TWAIN screens contain checkboxes for selecting scanning
of one page or all pages in a document.
