4.8 Misc Configuration
This section provides Misc Configuration of ISW-504PS / ISW-514PS series, it allows configuring Flow Control, MAC
Address Aging time, Backpressure, Link down power saving and Congested Port Drop for the Industrial PoE Switch.
In a dynamic network topology, address aging allows the contents of the address table to always be the most recent and
correct. A learned source address entry ill be cleared (age out) if it is not update by the address learning process within a
set aging time period. Use this page to set the Address Ageing Timeout for the MAC Address database. The screen in
Figure 4-46 appears.

The Address Learning Table includes the following fields:
Object Description
• IEEE 802.3x flow
control
Allow Enable or Disable flow control for selected port.
• Enable – 802.3x flow control is enabled on Full-Duplex mode.
• Disable – No flow control function on Full-Duplex mode.
• Backpressure
Allow Enable or Disable backpressure function for selected port.
• Enable – Backpressure is enabled on Half-Duplex mode.
• Disable – No backpressure function on Half-Duplex mode.
• Link Down power • Enable – Enable link down power saving mode
