Entsorgung

Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien,
die Sie über die örtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen können.
Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten Produktes
erfahren Sie bei Ihrer Gemeinde- oder Stadtverwaltung.

Werfen Sie Ihr Produkt, wenn es ausgedient hat, im Interesse
des Umweltschutzes nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern führen Sie
es einer fachgerechten Entsorgung zu. Über Sammelstellen und
deren Öﬀnungszeiten können Sie sich bei Ihrer zuständigen Ver-
waltung informieren.

Defekte oder verbrauchte Batterien müssen gemäß Richtlinie 2006 / 66 / EC
recycelt werden. Geben Sie Batterien und / oder das Gerät über die ange-
botenen Sammeleinrichtungen zurück.

Umweltschäden durch falsche
Entsorgung der Batterien!

Batterien dürfen nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Sie können giftige
Schwermetalle enthalten und unterliegen der Sondermüllbehandlung. Die
chemischen Symbole der Schwermetalle sind wie folgt: Cd = Cadmium,
Hg = Quecksilber, Pb = Blei. Geben Sie deshalb verbrauchte Batterien bei
einer kommunalen Sammelstelle ab.

EMC

Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten. Bei
Kontakt mit Batteriesäure spülen Sie die betroﬀene Stelle mit reichlich
Wasser ab und / oder suchen Sie einen Arzt auf!

Inbetriebnahme

Batterien einsetzen / austauschen

Bevor Sie die Batterien einlegen, schieben Sie den EIN- / AUS-Schalter

auf der Unterseite des Produkts auf „OFF” (siehe Abb. B).

Lösen Sie die beiden Schrauben des Batteriefachs 2 und nehmen Sie die
Abdeckung ab.

Legen Sie die beiliegenden Batterien 2 x 1,5 V AAA unter Beachtung
der Polarität (+ und –) in das Batteriefach 2 ein.

Schließen Sie das Batteriefach 2 und drehen Sie die beiden Schrau-
ben wieder fest.

Ein- / Ausschalten

Schieben Sie den EIN- / AUS-Schalter 1 auf der Unterseite des Produkts
auf „ON”, um den Bewegungsmelder einzuschalten.

Stellen Sie das Produkt an einer gewünschten Stelle auf.

HINWEIS: Sobald jemand in den Erfassungsbereich des Produkts
tritt, ertönen Vogellaute.

Schieben Sie den EIN- / AUS-Schalter 1 auf „OFF”, um den Bewe-
gungsmelder auszuschalten.

HINWEIS: Der Bewegungsmelder funktioniert nicht bei Dunkelheit.

Reinigung und Pﬂege

Tauchen Sie das Produkt niemals in Wasser oder in andere Flüssig-
keiten. Andernfalls kann das Produkt beschädigt werden.

Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine chemischen Reiniger, Scheuermittel
oder scharfe Gegenstände. Andernfalls kann das Produkt beschädigt
werden.

Reinigen Sie das Produkt mit einem leicht angefeuchteten, fusselfreien
Tuch. Bei stärkerer Verschmutzung können Sie das Tuch auch mit einer
leichten Seifenlauge befeuchten.

Sicherheitshinweise

LEBENS- UND UNFALLGEFAHR FÜR KLEINKINDER
UND KINDER! Batterien gehören nicht in Kinderhände. Lassen
Sie Batterien nicht oﬀen herumliegen. Es besteht die Gefahr,

dass diese von Kindern oder Haustieren verschluckt werden. Suchen
Sie im Falle eines Verschluckens sofort einen Arzt auf.

Lassen Sie Kinder niemals unbeaufsichtigt mit dem Verpackungsmaterial.
Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr durch Verpackungsmaterial. Kinder unter-
schätzen häuﬁg die Gefahren. Halten Sie Kinder stets vom Produkt fern.

Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug, es gehört nicht in Kinderhände. Kinder
können die Gefahren, die im Umgang mit elektrischen Produkten ent-
stehen, nicht erkennen.

Verwenden Sie den Artikel nicht, wenn Sie irgendwelche Beschädigungen
feststellen.

Sicherheitshinweise zu Batterien

Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn sie längere Zeit nicht verwendet wor-
den sind, aus dem Gerät.

VORSICHT! EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Laden Sie Batterien
niemals wieder auf!

Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die richtige Polarität! Diese wird in den
Batteriefächern angezeigt.

Reinigen Sie Batterie- und Gerätekontakt vor dem Einlegen falls
erforderlich.

Entfernen Sie erschöpfte Batterien umgehend aus dem Gerät. Es besteht
erhöhte Auslaufgefahr!

Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll!

Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpﬂichtet, Batterien ordnungsgemäß
zu entsorgen!

Halten Sie Batterien von Kindern fern, werfen Sie Batterien nicht ins
Feuer, schließen Sie Batterien nicht kurz und nehmen Sie sie nicht
auseinander.

Tauschen Sie immer alle Batterien gleichzeitig aus.

Verwenden Sie nur Batterien des gleichen Typs.

Bei Nichtbeachtung der Hinweise können die Batterien über ihre End-
spannung hinaus entladen werden. Es besteht dann die Gefahr des
Auslaufens. Falls die Batterien in Ihrem Gerät ausgelaufen sein sollten,
entnehmen Sie diese sofort, um Schäden am Gerät vorzubeugen!

Bewegungsmelder

Einleitung

Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produktes. Sie enthält
wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit, Handhabung und Entsorgung.
Machen Sie sich vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme mit allen Funktionen

des Gerätes vertraut. Lesen Sie hierzu nachfolgende Bedien- und Sicherheits-
hinweise. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur wie beschrieben und für die angege-
benen Einsatzbereiche. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung gut auf. Händigen
Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Gerätes an Dritte ebenfalls mit aus.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Diese Deko-Figur mit eingebautem Bewegungsmelder ist für den Betrieb im
privaten Haushalt geeignet. Andere Verwendungen oder Veränderungen des
Produktes gelten als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und können zu Risiken wie
z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischem Schlag und Beschädigung des Pro-
duktes führen. Für aus bestimmungswidriger Verwendung entstandene
Schäden übernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung. Das Produkt ist nicht für
den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product

properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in
the household waste. Information on collection points and their
opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive
2006 / 66 / EC. Please return the batteries and / or the device to the avail-
able collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect

disposal of the batteries!

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may
contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment
rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows:
Cd = cadmium, Hg= mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose
of used batteries at a local collection point.

Preparing for use

Inserting / replacing the battery

Before you insert the batteries, move the ON / OFF switch 1 on the

underside of the product to the “OFF” position (see Fig. B).

Open the battery compartment 2 with a crosshead screwdriver.

Insert 2 x 1.5 V AAA batteries in battery compartment 2 with the

correct polarity (+/–).

Close the battery compartment 2 using the crosshead screwdriver.

Switching ON / OFF

To switch on the motion detector, slide the ON / OFF switch 1 on the

underside of the product into the “ON” position.

Place the product in the desired location.

NOTE: The bird song eﬀects start as soon as anyone steps into the
detection range of the product.

To switch oﬀ the motion detector, slide the ON / OFF switch 1 into

the “OFF” position.

NOTE: The motion sensor does not work in the dark.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Never immerse the product in water or other liquids. This can damage

the product.

Do not use chemical cleaners, scouring agents or sharp objects for

cleaning. These can damage the product.

Clean the product with a slightly dampened, non-ﬂuﬃng cloth. To re-

move more stubborn dirt, you can also dampen the cloth with a weak
soap solution.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which

you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. Contact your
local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dis-
pose of your worn-out product.

Safety instructions

DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENTS FOR

INFANTS AND CHILDREN! Keep batteries out of the
reach of children. Do not leave the batteries lying around.

There is a risk of children or animals swallowing them. Consult a doctor
immediately if a battery is swallowed.

Never leave children unattended with the packaging material. It can
cause suﬀocation. Children often underestimate dangers. Always keep
children away from the product.

This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling elec-
trical products.

Do not use the article if you detect any kind of damage.

Safety Instructions for Batteries

Remove the batteries from the device if they are not going to be used

for a prolonged period.

CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! The batteries
must never be recharged!

When inserting the batteries, ensure the correct polarity! This is shown

in the battery compartments.

If necessary, clean the batteries and device contacts before inserting

the batteries.

Remove spent batteries immediately from the device. There is an in-

creased danger of leaks!

Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste!

Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries in the proper

manner!

Keep batteries away from children; do not throw them in the ﬁre, short-

circuit them or take them apart.

Always replace all the batteries at once.

Use batteries of the same type only.

If the above instructions are not complied with, the batteries may discharge

themselves beyond their end voltage. There is a danger of leaking. If
the batteries have leaked inside your device, you should remove them
immediately in order to prevent damage to the device!

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Any parts

of the body coming into contact with battery acid should be rinsed oﬀ
with copious amounts of water and / or a doctor contacted if necessary!

Motion Sensor

Introduction

The operating manual is an integral part of this product. It contains

important information relating to safety, handling and disposal.
Before using the device for the ﬁrst time, familiarise yourself with

all its functions. To do this, please read the following operating and safety
instructions. Always use the device as described and for the stated areas
of use only. Keep this manual in a safe place. Make sure that all documents
accompany the device if you pass it on to anyone else.

Proper use

This ornamental ﬁgure with integral motion sensor is intended for use in a
private domestic environment. Any other use or modiﬁcation of the product
constitute improper use and pose a risk of short circuits, ﬁre, electric shocks
and damage to the product. The manufacturer is not liable for damage
caused by improper use. The product is not intended for commercial use.

Eliminação

A embalagem é composta por materiais recicláveis, que pode

duto juntamente com o lixo doméstico; entregue-o num ponto

horas de abertura.

As pilhas avariadas ou gastas têm de ser recicladas de acordo com a
directiva 2006 / 66 / CE. Entregue as pilhas e / ou o aparelho nos locais
especíﬁcos destinados à sua recolha.

Danos ambientais devido à eliminação

As pilhas não podem ser eliminadas no lixo doméstico. Podem conter
metais pesados tóxicos e são consideradas resíduos perigosos. Os
símbolos químicos dos metais pesados são os seguintes: Cd = cádmio,
Hg = mercúrio, Pb = chumbo. Como tal, deposite as pilhas utilizadas
num ponto de recolha adequado do seu município.

Evite o contacto com a pele, olhos e mucosas. No caso de contacto

com o ácido da pilha, lave abundantemente a zona afectada com
água e / ou consulte um médico!

Colocação em funcionamento

Colocar / Substituir pilhas

Antes de colocar as pilhas, desloque o interruptor de LIGAR / DESLI-

GAR 1 , no lado inferior do produto, para a posição “OFF” (ver ﬁg. B).

Desaperte ambos os parafusos do compartimento das pilhas 2 e

remova a tampa do mesmo.

Coloque as 2 pilhas 1,5 V AAA fornecidas, respeitando a polaridade

(+ e –) no compartimento das pilhas 2 .

Volte a fechar o compartimento para as pilhas 2 e aperte novamente

ambos os parafusos.

Ligar / desligar

Coloque o interruptor de LIGAR / DESLIGAR 1 , na parte inferior do

aparelho, na posição “ON” para ligar o sensor de movimentos.

Coloque o produto no local desejado.

NOTA: assim que uma pessoa passar na área de detecção do produto,
soa o canto de uma ave.

Coloque o interruptor de LIGAR / DESLIGAR 1 em “OFF” para desligar

o sensor de movimento.

Nota: O sensor de movimentos apenas funciona com claridade.

Limpeza e conservação

Nunca mergulhe o produto em água ou outros líquidos. Caso contrário,

o produto pode ﬁcar daniﬁcado.

Não utilize quaisquer produtos químicos ou abrasivos para a limpeza,

nem objectos aﬁados. Caso contrário, o produto pode ﬁcar daniﬁcado.

Limpe o produto apenas com um pano que não largue ﬁos levemente

humedecido. Em caso de maior sujidade, pode humedecer o pano
também com um pouco de água morna e sabão.
