• Do not work the unit so hard that it
comes to a standstill.
• Pay attention to the instructions on unit
maintenance and cleaning.
Use as a grass trimmer
• Grass is best cut when dry and not too
long.
• The telescopic shaft makes it easier to
work with the grass trimmer:
Push the equipment slowly over the
ground on the rollers. This will give an
even cutting height.
Adjusting the height of the telesco-
pic shaft:
• Adjust the length of the telescopic shaft
to your body height using the height-
adjustment screw (17).
Adjusting the working angle:
For a comfortable edge cut, the equipment
holder (19) can be rotated by 90° to the
right or left on the telescopic shaft rotary
joint (18).
• Set the desired working angle by turn-
ing the telescopic shaft equipment
holder (19). The holder clicks into the
desired position.
Use as a hedge trimmer
Do not use the shrub cutter
in combination with the tel-
escopic shaft. There is a risk
of cut wounds.
• Move the unit forward evenly.
• The double-sided cutting heads enable
cutting in both directions or by swing-
ing the unit from side to side.

Leave any work not covered
in this manual to our Service
Centre. only use original
parts. There is a risk of in-
jury!
Never use cleaning agents or sol-
vents, which can cause irreparable
damage to the unit. Chemicals can
attack the plastic components on
the unit.
Wear gloves when handling the
blades (
9/11). There is a risk of
injury from cuts!
Clean and service the unit regularly as fol-
lows. This guarantees a long life for your
unit:
• Check the covers and guards for dam-
age and correct position. If necessary,
replace.
• Keep the ventilation slits, motor hous-
ing and handles on the equipment
clean. To do this, use a damp cloth or
brush.
• Always keep the blade clean.
After using the equipment, it is impera-
tive to:
- Clean the blade
(with an oily cloth);
- Oil the blade shaft
with an oil can or
spray.
• Slight notches on the blades can be
evened out. For this, sand down the
blades with an oil stone. Only sharp
blades can cut properly.
• Blunt, bent or damaged blades must
be changed.
