Using the Flash
The following describes the flash settings you can make to
suit a variety of lighting needs.
Selecting the Flash Mode
Use the following procedure to select the flash mode.
1.
Align the power/function switch with .

Deleting the Last Image Recorded in the
REC Mode
Normally, you need to enter the PLAY mode (page 109) to
delete an image. The following procedure lets you delete the
image you just recorded without leaving the REC mode.
IMPORTANT!
• Note that the image delete operation cannot be un-
done. Make sure you really do not need an image be-
fore you delete it.
1.
In the REC mode, press PREVIEW to display
the last image you recorded.
2.
Press AE-L .
3.
In response to the confirmation message that
appears, select “Yes”.
• Select “No” to cancel the delete operation without de-
leting anything.
4.
Click the control button.
• This deletes the image and returns to the REC mode
screen.
