Command 2 - DATA TYPE AND DISPLAY SETUP

Command 2 specifies the data type for data sent to a connected graphic
scientific calculator. It is also used to specify whether or not channel data
should be displayed during sampling.

Syntax

{2, Data Display CH, Data Type, REG X Data, REG Y Data, X-Data Post-
Processing, Y-Data Post-Processing}

Data Display CH Parameter

This parameter specifies the channel whose data should be displayed on the
data analyzer in the READY state or while sampling is in progress. The data
display frequency during sampling is in accordance with the sampling time
specified using Command 3. For details, see “Sample Time Parameter”.

The initial default for this parameter is 0.

• This function is valid for sample times of 0.2 second or greater.

Data Type Parameter

This parameter specifies REG data format for the type of data being trans-
ferred to a connected graphic scientific calculator.

0

No data type specified

This setting is used when transferring data to a calculator list or
matrix.

REG data

This specification is used when transferring sampled data to the
calculator as REG data. This setting is for CFX-9800G only.

• 1 can be specified for the data type parameter only when using the [XMIT-

9800] key ([SHIFT] [INTERNAL]) to transfer data to a CFX-9800G.
