Unlocking the Scanner
Before connecting the scanner to a
power source, you must release the
transportation lock, located on the
back of the scanner.
To release the transportation lock, slide
it to the
UNLOCK position, as shown.
Always lock the transportation lock before moving the scanner. Also, be
sure the carriage is in the home position (shown below). See
“Transporting the Scanner” on page 111 for more information.
