Map 35 to 84:
The General MIDI standard
note number 35 and 36). This can be inconvenient as many MIDI
keyboards end at note number 36. Map 35 to 84 makes it possible to
trigger the sound at note number 35 using note number 84 (C5)
which is found on most MIDI keyboards.
Startup Kit:
The Startup Kit control displays the Kit that is loaded when the RMV
is started. Clicking on the directory icon at the right of the control
opens a browser that can be used to set the Startup Kit.
Velocity Curve:
This slider allows you to set one of ten different velocity responses;
from linear through to an extreme exponential velocity response.
Sample Editor:
The Sample Editor control enables a sample editor application to be
set as the default application that opens when sample editing is
desired. The control displays the current editor, or if no editor has
been chosen, the control is empty.
To select a sample editor, click on the directory icon at the right of the
control. This opens the External Sample Editor Browser which is
used to navigate to and select the desired sample editor.
The selected sample editor can then be opened automatically from
the Sampler module or any of the Loop modules.
