6.5.2 Connecting the Internal Power Supply
Cable routing of the internal power supply
Connect the internal power supply transformer on the primary side directly behind the fuse load
disconnection unit to the copper bars which are included in delivery. Connect and prepare the copper
bars as described below.
1. Strip the lower ends of the three copper bars, which
are intended for the AC connection and to be fed into
the load disconnection unit, to a length of 120 mm.
Necessary components
For the internal power supply you will need an internal power supply transformer, the right
cables and a suitable right screw set. You can order these components directly from SMA
Solar Technology AG.
Implementing the internal power supply
It is obligatory to follow the circuit diagram contained in the delivery when connecting the
internal power supply.
WARNING!
Risk of death due to burns and electric shock when live parts are touched!
• Do not touch the live components of the Sunny Central, the power distribution grid or
the low-voltage grid.
• Observe all applicable safety precautions.
• Only work on the device when it is switched off and voltage-free.
