6.4 Connecting the PE Rail
Connect the equipotential bonding or ground electrode to the PE rail in the DC / inverter cabinet.
WARNING!
Risk of death due to burns and electric shock when live parts are touched!
• Do not touch the live components of the Sunny Central, the power distribution grid or
the low-voltage grid.
• Observe all applicable safety precautions.
• Only work on the device when it is switched off and voltage-free.
Routing the grounding cable
The cable is fed in together with the DC cabling through the sliding plate in the floor of the
DC cabinet. For instructions on mounting and dismounting the sliding plate, see
6.6 ”Connecting the DC Cable” (page 76).
Position of the PE rail
The PE rail is located behind the fuse strip in the DC cabinet. The exact position of the PE
rail can be determined with the help of the equipment identifier and the provided circuit
diagram.
