How to operate the Sound Adjustment Mode

Each time the button is pressed, the
frequency level changes as follows.
When the BASS is selected:
60Hz
↔ 80Hz ↔ 100Hz ↔ 120Hz
When the MIDDLE is selected:
700Hz (FIX)
When the TREBLE is selected:
7.5kHz
↔ 10kHz ↔ 12.5kHz ↔ 15kHz
ATTENTION
• Center frequencies and Q curves adjusted
here are reflected on BASS, MIDDLE and
TREBLE in the audio control mode. (Refer
to page 38 for details on audio control
operation.)
• When the center frequencies and Q curves
are adjusted, CUSTOM EQ will be updated.
Crossover adjustment (X-Over)
Allocate specified frequency bands to each
speaker for improved sound integration.
• Crossover FR adjustment (X-OVER FR)
Sets the frequency for front and rear
speakers.
• Crossover NF adjustment (X-OVER NF)
Sets the frequency for Non-Fader (sub-
woofer).
The selected setting mode is
activated.
When the button is pressed, the
setting item changes as follows.
Upper: PASS
Lower: ON
Slope is 12dB/oct under ON.
ATTENTION
Crossover setting will be reflected in the display.
Non-fader phase (NON-FADER)
The merging of sound between the front and rear
speakers and the woofer can be improved.
Switch the phase to a phase which lets the
speakers combine without any disharmony.
The non-fader setting mode is
activated.
When the button is pressed, the
setting item changes as follows.
Upper: NORMAL
Lower: REVERSE

Press the [SELECT] (Right/Left)
button to adjust the frequency level.

Press the [EQ/MENU] or [RTN]
button to exit sound adjustment
mode.

Press the [SELECT] (Upper/Lower)
button to select the X-OVER FR or
X-OVER NF.

Press the [ENTER] button.

Press the [SELECT] (Upper/Lower)
button to set PASS or ON.

Press the [EQ/MENU] or [RTN]
button to exit sound adjustment
mode.

button to select the NON-F.
