Major Components
Master Module
The Master is a 6-rack unit, rack mount module. The backplane incorpo-
rates plug-in connections for any combination of 10 switch cards, a micro-
processor card, and one KVM module. The microprocessor controls both
the KVM module and the switch cards. It also provides a user interface via
the front panel mounted LCD and button field. A menu-driven setup pro-
grams the switching configuration(s). Five different configurations can be
programmed. A single button press implements the required configura-
tion.
