Section 4 — Software Setup and Operation
Each slot in the module is listed (1-10). To the right of each card slot number
is a short description of the card type in that slot. To the left of the card slot
is a radio button indicating the status of that card (on/off). If the radio
button is hollow, the corresponding Switch Card is in the normal
(unswitched) state. If the radio button is solid, the corresponding Switch
Card is in the switched state.
Note To change from the Master Module to an Expansion Module, the mode select
buttons on the front panel of the XSWITCH may be used anytime.
Note To switch to another rack, use the Function Up and Function Down buttons.
XSWITCH Menu
Note Refer to Figure 11 on page 25 for the buttons mentioned in the following
description.
To access the XSWITCH Menu, press SEL when the Main Screen appears
on the LCD display. To choose a menu item, use the Function Up and Func-
tion Down Buttons. To select a menu item, press SEL when the desired
menu item is highlighted (
Figure 12 below).

Card Setup
When selected from the XSWITCH Menu, Card Setup information appears
on the LCD display as shown in
Figure 13 below. This display is used to
configure Switch Card operation.
