The Restore Factory Defaults message (
below) appears on the
LCD display as shown in
Figure 18. Restore Factory Defaults Screen
Restoring factory defaults overwrites all user settings:
•
XSWITCH will default to configuration mode A
•
All card settings will default to switched state for configuration mode
B and unswitched state for all other modes
•
Master/Slave setting will default to Master
•
Screen saver will default to OFF, and 30 minutes
Sample Step-by-Step Procedure
The following steps demonstrate how to configure a SWITCH CARD.
Assuming there is an SDI card in slot three, this example configures it to be
in switched state and all other cards in unswitched state when mode C is
selected. These procedures assume the XSWITCH is configured to factory
defaults, is powered on, and is displaying the Main Screen.
1.
Power on the XSWITCH.
The Main menu appears on the LCD display.
2.
Press SEL.
The Menu appears on the LCD display.
