Exporting a file in the XDCAM format
7. Click Start , and then click OK .
• Checking Limit the FTP transfer rate while recording or playing. will limit
the transfer rate of FTP downloads/uploads during a recording and playback.
8. Access your T2 from a client.
• Enter the IP address you configured in Network-1 and enter the user name and
password you configured in FTP to connect to your T2 via FTP.
9. Upload or download your data.
CAUTION: By default, the system will pause any transfer and conversion during a
recording or playback. If you want to change the setting to allow transfer and
conversion to be performed even during a recording or playback, click
Config. and
then click Common in the "Transfer" tree. Unchecking Pause file transfers while
recording or playing out. enables transfer and conversion even during a recording
or playback. However, the recording/playback operations may not be performed
normally if both of the
Pause file transfers while recording or playing out. and
Limit the FTP transfer rate while recording or playing. options in Step 7 are
unchecked, therefore, we recommend that you use the system with these options
checked.
Exporting a file in the XDCAM format
Clips imported as the original XDCAM format can be exported as the XDCAM
format.
NOTE: You can also export an AVI clip converting it to the XDCAM format. For
more information, see
"MXF Export Function" on page 51 .
