This chapter addresses configurers. Operators and other persons not interested in NV9606
configuration need not read this chapter.
Summary
The NV9606 is a relatively simple panel. It has 68 function buttons. It can operate stand-alone or
as an extension to an NV9607 control panel. As an extension, it follows the mode in which the
NV9607 was configured. The NV9607 has 4 operating modes:
• Limited X-Y Mode .
• Single-Destination Mode .
• Single-Destination Mode with Breakaway .
• Multi-Destination Mode .
The button functions for the NV9607 and the NV9606 differ from mode to mode.
NV9000-SE Utilities is the software with which to configure the NV9606. Figure 4-1, following,
shows the default NV9606 panel configuration page from NV9000-SE Utilities.
Adding a Panel to an NV9000 Configuration
You must create configurations for the NV9606 using NV9000-SE Utilities. We assume that you
are familiar enough with NV9000-SE Utilities that you can understand the following material. It
is not difficult material, but some of the concepts might not be familiar to everyone.
It takes only a few seconds to add a new panel configuration.
