Installation
Submodule Installation Overview
The two SMV-SFP submodules are installed on the top and bottom sides of
the circuit board and must be cabled to the output connectors on the main
module with the cable assemblies provided.

Each submodule type can be identified by a part number on the label
(
). The direction of the arrows on the label indicate that the device
is a dual transmitter, dual receiver, or transceiver. The device in
illustrates a 1310nm dual transmitter.
On CWDM submodules (not shown), the frequency of the device will be
indicated by numbers between the arrows that correspond to the following
model numbers:
•
SFP-CWDM-1 – 1440nm (44) and 1490nm (49)
•
SFP-CWDM-2 – 1510nm (51) and 1530nm (53)
•
SFP-CWDM-3 – 1550nm (55) and 1570nm (57)
•
SFP-CWDM-4 – 1590nm (59) and 1610nm (61)
