Configuring the AP mode

The Agreement Protocol (AP) prevents temporary loops that might occur when the topologies of SPBM
neighbors do not match.
If AP is enabled, SPBM issues forwarding entries to the forwarding plane only if AP declares a topology

match.

NOTE:

In this document, "AP" refers to agreement protocol. In other documents, "AP" can also refer to access
points.
