In tandem replication, the source BEB encapsulates a frame with a B-DA multicast address that uniquely
identifies itself and the SPBM service. When this frame arrives at the BCB where the shortest path tree
forks, the BCB replicates one frame for each destination BEB, as shown in
Figure 5 .
