Updating the firmware
You can use TASCAM DR CONTROL to update the DR unit
firmware to the latest version by Wi-Fi.
1. Connect the smartphone that has TASCAM DR CONTROL
installed to an external Wi-Fi access point.
2. Launch the TASCAM DR CONTROL app.
3. Touch the “BROWSE” button.
4. Touch the “Get Firmware” button.
5. Touch the “DOWNLOAD” button.
6. When “Firmware Download is completed.” appears, touch the
OK button.
7. Disconnect the smartphone that has TASCAM DR CONTROL
installed from the external Wi-Fi access point, and connect it
to the DR unit by Wi-Fi.
8. Launch the TASCAM DR CONTROL app.
9. Touch the “MENU” button.
10. Touch the “FIRM UPDATE” button.
This starts the update of the DR unit firmware.
After updating completes, the DR unit will automatically turn
off.
