TEATRO 80 - M80
LAMP POWER
If your projection room is especially dark, the images pro-
jected by the TEATRO 80 - M80 system may appear to be
excessively bright. Use the LAMP POWER function to reduce
the power used to operate the lamp while achieving maxi-
mum image quality. In this way, the brightness of the image
will be adapted to your projection conditions guaranteeing
that the lamp lasts longer.
MANAGEMENT OF LAMPS
The projector has two lamps with the following operating
modes (Fig. 30):
•
Double,
with both lamps in operation, for maximum
brightness from the projector
•
Single,
with only one lamp on, for longer-lasting
lamps.
Any variation takes place only after pressing the confirma-
tion key (+). The confirmation may take effect:
•
immediately,
for transition for 'Double' to 'Single'
mode or vice versa
•
delayed
(at next start-up from standby), for transition
in the ambit of Single mode.
IN THE GRAPHIC REPRESENTATION:
•
a selected lamp is shown by having the corresponding
number underlined
•
a lamp that is in operation is shown with a symbol above
the corresponding number
•
a lamp being turned on or cooling off is shown by sym-
bols alongside the corresponding number.
If a lamp fails to light, the projector will attempt to provide
projection in the best conditions possible:
•
if in "Double" mode, by turning on the lamp that is still
working
•
if in "Single" mode, by turning on the other lamp, i.e.
the one that is not selected.

SOURCE LIST
In order to make the TEATRO 80 - M80 system increas-
ingly flexible, the functions described below make it possible
to modify the input selection menu and adapt it so that it
matches the requirements of the user more closely. The main
page displays all the source inputs physically connected to
the projector.
You can delete any inputs which are not in use. To do this,
select the input in the pull down menu which appears when
you press ◀, and choose whether to enable or disable the
input (Fig. 32).
Enabling or disabling of sources will automatically cause the
renumbering of the remaining active inputs.
