TEATRO 80 - M80
SETUP
This menu includes the less frequently used adjustments
which may be helpful during installation (for example, the
selection of the language for the On Screen Display or the
display of test images) (Fig.25).
ORIENTATION
Reverses the image vertically and horizontally to best fit the
installation: i.e. desktop front, ceiling front, desktop rear
and ceiling rear.
HORIZONTAL/VERTICAL KEYSTONE
To achieve the best image quality, we recommend install-
ing the projector on a surface which is perpendicular to the
screen. If the image slopes left or right, adjust the feet on
the bottom of the projector to obtain a level position, lining
up the base of the projected image with the base of the
projection screen (Fig. 27).
If this adjustment is insufficient to centre the image on the
screen, tilt the projector and use the Vertical/horizontal
keystone adjustment to compensate for the resulting dis-
tortion.
LENS
The ZOOM adjustment controls the motorised lens zoom,
permitting you to zoom in or out, enlarging or shrinking the
projected image.
This permits you to access the optic zoom control, where
the ◀ and ▶ keys zoom in and out.
FOCUS adjustment changes the motorised lens focus.
It provides the maximum definition of the projected image.
Exact focusing should make it possible, from near the
screen, to distinguish every single pixel that makes up the im-
age. With the initial settings of the projector, the configurable
keys of the remote control (F1, F2) perform the functions of
optical zoom and optical focus (Fig.30).
POWER ON
If active (AUTO) , this option permits the system to be switched
on whenever the projector is connected to the mains power
supply.
In STANDBY mode the projector remains in STANDBY
mode and awaits the power-up command from the remote
control or keypad.
TEST PATTERNS
Displays a series of five test patterns, which are useful when
installing the system and checking basic functions. Use the
◀ and ▶ keys to select the various test patterns (Fig. 28).
INITIAL SETTINGS
Resets the projector to its initial factory settings (except Posi-
tion, Orientation, Y/C Delay, Zoom and Focus). Before per-
forming this operation, confirmation is requested (Fig.29).
